How does nutrax work?
Simple! You just snap and send pics of your food and fitness from your cameraphone. Then, sign in to your nutrax.com account to view your photos, build your photo journal, and get the information you need to make better decisions about your nutrition. All of this with the support and guidance of your own personal nutrax dietician.

Why should I sign up for nutrax?
Nutrax gives you unparalleled visibility into your diet and fitness, coupled with the support and expertise of a personal nutritionist. When combined, these give you the Nutritional Intelligence needed to achieve your health and fitness goals.

There’s lots of information out there about what you should eat, but very little on what you do eat. That’s where nutrax comes in. Nutrax gives you the ability to track and monitor your diet and exercise, so you can learn how to make smart changes to improve your health. Nutrax isn’t a diet or a prescribed program. It’s a personal monitoring tool, giving you an in-depth look at the types of foods you consume, how their nutritional contents affect your body, and how you can make changes to look and feel healthier.

What if my goals span all three goal categories?
Not to worry, at nutrax we understand that each client is unique and we’re dedicated to every client’s success regardless of goal. To ensure this success, we have designed the nutrax experience to be highly customizable. This customization comes through both the product technology and your personal nutritionist. If your goals span two or more goal categories, let us know when you sign up. On the signup page, there is a check box that allows you to pick which goal categories you would like to focus on (weight management, healthy living, or fitness). We encourage you to select your primary goal and all others that apply. This will allow us to customize your experience giving you the support you need to succeed.

What if I want to change my goals after signing up?
Go ahead and change them. To ensure that our clients are always focused on what is most important to them, we make changing your goals quick and painless. This can easily be done from the “Customize” tab within your account once you have signed up. Once you change the goals identified within your account, your nutritionist will know to shift the focus of your plan toward meeting your new goals.

How is my personal nutritionist selected?
With great care! We take pride in matching each of our clients with the right nutritionist based on their goals and needs. This is done through an in-depth assessment of the answers you provide to the questions within the profile wizard. The profile wizard is a tool that you use to set up your account once you have signed up. The wizard collects information about you, your health history and your goals. All of this information is kept strictly confidential as explained in our privacy policy.

How often do I have access to my nutritionist?
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

Will nutrax work with my existing diet?
Yes, nutrax will work with any diet. In fact, it will make your existing diet more effective. Nutrax gives you an in-depth look at the types of foods you consume, how their nutritional contents affect your body, and how you can make effective changes to look and feel healthier. If your existing diet has you counting calories, carbs or fat, nutrax will greatly simplify your life.

Do I need to have a camera phone to use nutrax?
No, nutrax is an excellent product for anyone with internet access. Camera phone or no camera phone, nutrax empowers you with the nutritional intelligence you need to make smart, healthy lifestyle choices. Without a camera phone, you will still receive the full value our unparalleled tool set provides along with the same exceptional coaching and support from your personal nutritionist.

How do I use my camera phone to track my nutrition?
You can use your phone to assist you in tracking your diet and fitness, eliminating the need for written logs.

Here’s how it works:

1. Use a camera phone to take a picture of your food or fitness activity. Grab a shot of your running shoes, take a picture of your plate before you eat, or capture an image of your swim cap – whatever helps you remember your activities for that day!

2. Once you’ve taken a reminder picture, use your phone to send it to your nutrax email account. (All camera-equipped phones allow you to send digital pictures to an email account. If you are unsure about this feature, see your phone’s manual).

3. When you are ready to track your diet and fitness activities, log-in to your nutrax account. Click on your personal inbox and your pictures will be right there waiting for you. It’s that simple!

This will save you time and allow you to track your diet and fitness when it is convenient for you. Only nutrax has developed this revolutionary camera-phone technology. It’s changing the way people manage their health, diet and fitness!

What type of internet browser do I need to access nutrax?
Nutrax utilizes the newest gizmos to give you the most powerful nutritional tracking available. For now, that means it is only compatiable with Internet Explorer. We'll be adding Firefox and Safari shortly!

What subscription programs does nutrax offer?
Nutrax offers two programs, Nutrax Lite and Nutrax Select.

Nutrax Lite is our free do-it-yourself tool. You'll have everything you need to track your diet and fitness goals.

Nutrax Select allows you to partner with a nutrax registered dietician to accomplish your objectives, privately and on your own time. You get 24-7 access to an online dietician, a personalized plan, and bi-weekly reviews of your progress with helpful tips and suggestions.

Is there a required subscription length?
No, all nutrax subscriptions are billed on a month to month basis and you can cancel at any time.

By signing up, will I be locked into a contract?
No, nutrax does not require a contract. If you are not satisfied, you can cancel at any time.

Can I change my plan (from Personal to Select and vice-versa) after becoming a customer?
Yes, you are free to change your plan any time. Once you sign up, there will be instructions within your “Account Management” area explaining how to change your plan. Once you request a plan change, the change will take effect the following month.

Are there any software and hardware requirements?
No! Just an internet browser!

Is nutrax covered by my insurance?
To answer this question you will need to follow up with your insurance provider. We do not have a standard plan with any health insurance companies for our services. However, if your insurance provider covers weight loss or fitness fees, we are happy to send a detailed receipt to identify the specific fees and terms of our services.

We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to find out if a receipt from us will satisfy their requirements for reimbursement.

How do I sign up?

Can I sign someone else up as a gift?
Yes, we encourage you to give the gift of Nutritional Intelligence. To give someone a nutrax subscription, simply email us at gifts@nutraxcorp.com with your request.

There are two payment options with a gift subscription:
1. One time payment for a fixed number of months, after which the recipient will be responsible for paying their own ongoing subscription fees
2. On going monthly payments for the life of the subscription

How do I choose my user name?
Your user name uniquely identifies you within the system. It can be created from any combination of letters and numbers you want. We only require that it consist of between 3 and 20 characters and contain no spaces.

Your user name will be used for two main purposes:
1. You will use it to log into your nutrax account
2. It will be the beginning of the nutrax email address you’ll use when sending photos or email reminders to your account. (For example, if your user name was alice21, your email would be alice21@nutrax.com)

By signing up, will I be locked into a contract?
No, nutrax does not require a contract. If you are not satisfied, you can cancel at any time

What email address should I give you when I sign up?
It is very important that you give us an email address that you check regularly. Upon signing up, we will send all of your important account information to the email address provided. Other then sending account information, we will never send you anything that you didn’t ask for and we will never share your email address with anyone else.

Will nutrax share my personal information?

How do I log into my nutrax account?
When you go to the nutrax homepage (www.nutrax.com) and you will see the login area in the upper left hand corner of the page. Here you type your user name in the user name field, type your password in the password field and click submit.

What do you recommend if I’m having trouble logging into my account?
The first thing would be to make sure you’re typing your user name and password correctly. The cause of most mistyped login information is having your caps lock on. Make sure that the caps lock and number lock are turned off. If you are still having trouble, you may have forgotten your user name or password. If this is the case, click the “Forgot user name and password?” link. This link will take you to a new screen designed to help you log in using other personal information and your security question. If you are still having trouble, we recommend that you contact customer service from the Contact Us page.

What is purpose of the "Remember Me" check box?
This box is used to have the computer you are working on remember your user name and password so that next time you use that computer, it will log you into your nutrax account automatically. (For example, if you check the Remember Me box when logging on using your home computer, the next time you go to the nutrax site use this same computer, it will log you in automatically.)

The “Remember Me” feature is convenient and safe when using your home or personal computer. However, you should not use this feature when using a public or shared computer, such as those at the library or local University.
