Let me take this opportunity to welcome you to Nutrax, the intelligent
way to help you attain and maintain your health goals. Whether you
are interested in weight loss, healthy living, or improving fitness,
you need to think about what you are going to do, work towards goals,
and continually evaluate your progess. Nutrition is much more than what we eat,
it is also why, when, where and how much we eat.
For many of us, eating is an afterthought. By the same token,
many people don’t think about changing their diet until they
experience an adverse health event. This is a reactive approach
to health. If instead, we choose to be proactive and preventive,
by thinking about what goes into our mouths, we will be better able
to make choices that affect our health and well-being.
Nutrax provides accountability, by seeing
and tracking what you eat. It also allows you to have ongoing feedback
and support from nutrition experts who can trouble shoot and advise
to keep you on the road to success.
The emphasis is positive, proactive and forward thinking. You have
control over what has not yet occurred. Eating is one of the few
behaviors that we can control, and the impact is enormous. If your
goal is weight loss, seeing what you eat, tracking what goes into
your mouth, and modifying your eating plan with assistance from
your own nutrition expert can help you to lose the weight AND keep
it off! If you are trying to control blood glucose or cholesterol,
portions play a big role ( Literally). Learning to modify portions,
timing of meals, and in some cases food choices can help you to
take a proactive, preventive approach to disease management. If
you are a fitness enthusiast, from the weekend warrior to the elite
athlete, what, when and how much you eat can enhance or detract
from your performance. Nutritional Intelligence can help you to
make the smartest food choices for
your fitness and training goals.
By logging on, you have taken the first step to a better you. Be
purposeful and informed about your food choices and eating behaviors.
Remember, you are much more than what you eat, so take the smart
road for your health and well-being. Eat well, Stay well, Play well.
